Dublin : Tous en scène

<1

Each autumn Dublin Theatre Festival brings 20 days of the best Irish and international theatre in the world direct to the stages of our fair city.  The 2015 dates will be 22th September to 11th October.
This year over 200 performances will take place across 22 different venues, showcasing some of the country’s most exciting artists as well as spectacular shows from overseas, from 24 September – 11 October. Just some of the highlights of the 2015 programme include a new production of Conor McPherson’s Dublin-based play, ‘The Night Alive’, at the Gaiety Theatre, with a star-studded cast featuring Line of Duty’s Adrian Dunbar and Love / Hate’s Laurence Kinlan and Ian Lloyd-Anderson. Also at the Gaiety, the festival will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the premiere performance of Dancing at Lughnasa by Brian Friel, with a new production from the Lyric Theatre Belfast in association with the Lughnasa International Friel Festival.

From the program : To mark the centenary of Arthur Miller’s birth, Dublin Theatre Festival, the Gate Theatre and the UCD Clinton Institute present ‘The Arthur Miller Centenary’ – a tribute to the man and his work.
The celebration will involve international performers, directors, academics and biographers who will host a series of interviews, readings and discussions on Miller; the man, his life and his writing.
‘The Arthur Miller Centenary’ will take place at the Gate Theatre to the backdrop of the Gate’s production of Miller’s A View from the Bridge which runs throughout the festival.
